Jean piaget s on mental development.

Piaget contented that child's grows and adopt to the world by various mechanism which involve
infant who develop to child and then child develop to adult who can think and give or use 🔗 theses.
Piaget's view that successive reorganization of mental processes as a results of nurture and nature. He
said that children construct understanding to the world through experience and learning. From his
demonstration he find that children with different level of maturity react differently on the same
stimuli. Jeans piaget theory on mind have three basic components the schemas, adaptation process
that enables the transition from one stage to another. And lastly the stages of cognitive development.
Piaget defined schema as a organized way of interacting with new objects that child come across.
Adaptation process that helps the transition from one stage to another comprises assimilation and
accommodation. Also equilibration when a child establish harmony between assimilation and
accommodation. He concluded that the child mind is a empty slate when born but develop as he
mature and development of brain is controlled by experience.
