This standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 191 ‘Fixed firefighting systems’ (Secretariat: United Kingdom).
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building
and Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Technical Committee 00.35.00 Rauch- und Wärmeabzug bei
Bränden.
Amendments
DIN 18232-3, September 1984 edition, has been superseded by the specifications of EN 12101-2.
