You are all advised to send recorded presentations on the selected EIA case studies till 11-01-2021. Presentation should be recorded using MS PowerPoint. Each student should start his part by adding a section header. Name and registration number of student should be mentioned in section header. Each group member will record his/her part of presentation and share with the group leader. Group leader will merge all parts and prepare a single file. The size of the recorded presentation will be more than 25 MB most probably. You can use dropbox, google drive or one drive for uploading your presentation. Each group leader will share link of presentation with me through email. Contents of the presentation are given below; 1. Students introduction slide — Names and Registration Nos of all students- [Group leader and Team member] Section-1: . Title page- ( Name of Project and its location; Proponent Name; name of consultant) . Introduction of the Consultant ( Describe briefly about the environmental consultancy prepared the report- Now you will consider yourself as environmentalists. . Introduction to proponent- (Briefly describe the proponent as per EIA case study). . Background behind the construction of the road project OV oO © 10. 11. why it was required . Project Introduction: (Briefly describe location; total length of road; total cost of the project in one slide and add location map given in EIA case study on second slide. Components of the project i.e. road, overhead bridges, bridges, underpasses, signals, barriers etc.) . Define Project Objectives written in ElA-case study Section-2: Environmental impact Assessment . Introduction to EliA- one slide . Methodology adopted for conducting EllA- one slide Team Members: provide a list of team members- add your group members name in place of environmental scientists. Name mostly given in ElAs. Baseline data collected: in bullets form only (one slide only). Details should be briefly mentioned verbally. If possible add temperature profile. 12. 13. 14. 15, 16. 17. 18. 19. baseline environmental monitoring results etc. List of impacts identified during site visits- and then mention significant impacts possible. Using a matrix or checklist given in report- one slide Site Alternatives: names of alternatives only one slide Reason for the Selection of particular Alternative Section-3: Public Consultation Methodology adopted Stakeholders concerns and recommendations given in ElA report. Solutions provided if any for the stakeholder concerns. Pictorial view of consultation if any given in EIA. Section-4: Impacts and Their mitigation Measures Add impacts and mitigation measures added in EMP or in mitigation chapter- it better if these are in tabular format. You use descriptive format as well. 20. Conclusions and recommendations. If any group is composed of five members then he will discuss environmental monitoring plan, emergency response plan given in EIA report. Evaluation criteria will be provided soon.
