Jumpstart The Colorado Jumpstart incentive program is being

offered to Colorado unemployment recipients who return
Return to Work Incentive to work between May 16 and June 26, 2021.

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible to receive the Colorado Jumpstart incentive, claimants must meet all of the following criteria:

Must be a Colorado resident.

Must have successfully completed an identification verification.
Must have certified for at least one week of regular state unemployment benefits or Pandemic
Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) during the period beginning March 28, 2021
and ending May 16, 2021.

Must return to work between May 16 and June 26, 2021.

How Do I Get It?

Get hired.
Accept a job and return to work. There are more than 100,000 jobs currently listed
on ConnectingColorado.com.

Log into your MyUI+ account.
Log into your MyUI+ account and begin your weekly certification.

Let us know you’ve returned to work.
You’ll see the question, “Have you returned to work during this reporting period?”
Answer yes, and provide the date you returned to work.

Opt into the program.
Next, you’ll be asked if you want to participate in the Colorado Jumpstart program.
Answer yes.

Let us know about your new job.
On the next screen, provide the requested information about your new employer and wages. That’s
it! The first half of your Colorado Jumpstart incentive will be paid after approximately four weeks of
employment, with the second half paid after approximately eight weeks of employment.
