The document discusses a work breakdown structure (WBS) for a training project. The WBS breaks the project down into six main tasks: 1) project planning, 2) defining training requirements, 3) selecting training experts, 4) training preparation, 5) the training sessions, and 6) project closeout. Each task contains smaller sub-tasks to accomplish the overall project objectives. The WBS is presented graphically in Figure 1.

This sub-section of the project shows the graphical
presentation of all identified processes of what must be done in order to accomplish the project objectives. With the use of work breakdown structure, the project organizers decided to decompose the project objectives into six smaller tasks necessary to achieve the objective. The first part of the work breakdown structure is the project planning. This part includes the project communication plan that is how many participants will be identified and invited to join the project, project schedule and project budget. The second part of the WBS is the definition of the training requirements. In this part, tasks such as review of existing sets, skill gap analysis, definition of the technical requirements as well as the definition of training materials will be carried out. The third part of the WBS is the selection of training experts. Tasks to be taken by the organizers here include identifying training professionals, training experts’ selection and the signing of training experts’ contracts. The fourth part of the work breakdown structure is the training preparation. Tasks in the part include review and customize training materials, feedback forms, finalization of schedule, participant notifications, and catering arrangements. The fifth part of the WBS is the training. The only task here is the general participants training sessions. The final part of the WBS is the project closeout. Tasks here include the evaluation of feedback, project lessons learned, and distribution of supplemental training materials to participants. The WBS is graphically presented in Figure 1 below. Work Breakdown Structure of the Training Project
Project Implementation The project implementation phase is where the
training and development needs come to life. The training
will be delivered in person so that participants can gain
firsthand knowledge and experience. The training will be
broken down into two sessions. The first sessions starts
from 8am to 12 noon while the final sessions will last from,
2pm to 6pm in the evening with a limited number of
participants. The training will be divided into sessions
because we need to adhere to the local government guidelines
on social distancing so as to curb the spread of the ongoing
global health pandemic.
The project implementation will consider participants
engagement and learning. Necessary equipment, facilities and
questionnaires will be provided if need by the team of
experts in each training session. During the training,
participants’ progress will be monitored to ensure that the
program is effective. In addition, event organizers will
closely evaluate the quality of the activities and if it
meets the achievement of objectives, as well as the changes
that might be needed to the learning activities and
