CAREER PLAN

A. COMPETENCIES
As I am a product manager in over a year, have already inundated in different task
regarding leadership. I’ve been prompted in managing and development of product,
people management, dealing with customer behavior and dealing financial planning
including pricing and sales planning, and also forming strategy.

B. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT
Despite of competencies that I have in my work, still I wanted to learn more and develop
my skills to be totally fitted on the position that I wanted to fill in.
I would like to develop my skills – especially on negotiating and so much like dealing
with suppliers. I think like I am not that totally skilled negotiating.
I would also like to strongly improve my skills in designing aspect, plan and implement
sourcing and purchasing strategies. And also managing, improving and updating the
network of suppliers. – I do want to learn that thing as I wanted to be a purchasing
manager someday.

C. CAREER GOALS
I have just successfully competed for my current role so my short term goal is to learn
more and to get as much as work that could develop my skills to enable me to move on
to the next level. My long term goal is to occupy a position where I can improve my skills
and knowledge, in which has a higher responsibilities by rampant overseeing and
managing variety of products, leading different employees in a purchasing department,
and develop my sense of negotiating with different suppliers.
My overall career goals is to be a “Purchasing Manager”

D. NEXT ASSIGNMENTS
Within a month, I have to work on with those tasks that are connected to attain my
career goal, to completely strengthen my abilities on each of them.
