Re: Demand for Refund of Container Deposit

Gentlemen:

I write in behalf of my client Phil-Global Cargo Movers, Inc. and this refers to the
their claim for refund of container deposits which has been under process by your
office for an unreasonable length of time.

My client has had long standing dealings with you respecting the shipment of
their goods stored in your container vans for which they are required to secure by
deposit until such time the containers are returned to your possession.

Records endorsed to me show that successive deposits made as early as February

last year (2020) have already totaled Php 2,145,000.00.

My client has formally claimed the refund of their deposits and patiently followed
up the status of their refund from your office. However, you have simply given my
client the runaround while continuously evading your obligation to return their
overdue claims for refund.

Demand is hereby made for to refund the amount of __________________

covering the deposits made within seven (7) days from receipt of this demand
letter. Otherwise, I shall be compelled to file the appropriate complaints to
enforce my client's rights, further holding you liable consequential damages,
attorneys fees.
Please give this demand your utmost attention.
