ACTIVITY 2: RESEARCH ME
Instructions: There are many type of file formats of fonts we
can install in our computer. Search the difference of:
1. TRUE TYPE FONT (.ttf)
-According to techopedia, a TrueType font is a font
standard and is the major type of font found in both Mac
and Microsoft Windows operating systems. It consist of
binary file which contains a numbers of table related to
printer and screen versions of type face.

2. OPEN TYPE FONT (.otf)
-According to Wikipedia, Open type is a format for scalable
computer fonts. It was built on its predecessor TrueType,
retaining TrueType structure and adding many intricate
data structures for prescribing typographic behavior

of Microsoft Corporation.

3. WEB OPEN FONT FORMAT (.webm)
- According to Wikipedia, Web Open Font Format (WOFF)
is a font format for use in web pages. WOFF files are
OpenType or TrueType fonts, with format-specific
compression applied and additional XML metadata added.

4. SCALABLE VECTOR GRAPHICS (.svg)


- According to Wikipedia, Scalable Vector Graphics is an
Extensible Markup Language-based vector image format for
two dimensional graphics with support for interactivity and
animation. The SVG specification is an open standard
developed by the World Wide Web Consortium since 1999. SVG
images and their behaviors are defined in XML text files.
