Fortinet Recertified ISO 9001:2011 Certification for High Standards of Quality Management

Certification Validates Fortinet's Commitment to Providing Global Customer Base With World-Class
Quality

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/28/11 -- Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) -- the pioneer and leading provider of unified
threat management (UTM) solutions -- today announced that the company has received recertification to the ISO 9001:2011
Quality Management Systems standard. The recertification applies to Fortinet's Burnaby and Ottawa, Canada locations, which
represent key research and development centers for the company for activities such as hardware and software design and
development, the FortiGuard® Network services, technical documentation and manufacturing operations.

The certification scope of the Quality Management System includes the design, development and manufacturing of network
security products and the delivery of associated security services and support. As the most recognized quality standard in the
world, ISO 9001:2011 is essential for corporations with international presence, as it provides a universal language to
communicate to vendors, partners and customers worldwide about a company's adherence to a high standard of quality. ISO
9001:2011 certification is a validation of Fortinet's commitment to the utmost level of quality for its world-class customer base.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), based in Geneva, Switzerland, is a globally recognized quality
standards board that requires the development, manufacturing and supply of products and services to be more efficient and
safe. ISO 9001:2011 provides the requirements for a quality management system (QMS), which is a framework for an
organization to control its processes in order to achieve objectives including customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and
continual improvement.

"ISO 9001:2011 certification provides assurance to Fortinet's global customer base that all aspects of the development and
manufacturing of products are meeting the strict guidelines for quality set forth by the ISO and required by our customers," said
Ken Xie, founder, president and CEO of Fortinet. "Business excellence, innovative products, and customer and business
partner satisfaction are paramount to us and are now more easily validated with this important management system
certification."
