In today's world, traffic jams have become one of the most serious issues that each

metropolitan area must deal with. Using OpenCV, this system implements a smart traffic
detector. The number of automobiles on the road is rising at an increasing rate these
days. People waste a lot of time at traffic signals, especially during rush hour.
The goal is to calculate the number of cars at the road traffic zone to estimate the traffic
density on either side of the road. In this case, a traffic surveillance image is sent into
our trained computer, which determines whether or not there is traffic by counting the
number of cars visible.
