Projections of Straight lines-1 (Don't use trapezoidal method). Answer all questions:Each question carries 5 marks ‘The HP divides a line AB, 80 mm long, into two equal halves whereas the VP divides it in the ratio of 1:2 with the longer portion in front of VP. If A is 30mm above HP and 20mm in front of VP, draw the projections of the line. Midpoint of the line PQ, having 60mm long, is on both HP and VP, and the end Qis in the first quadrant. The line is inclined 30° to HP and 45° to VP. Draw its projections and shows its apparent angles with the reference planes . The distance between end projectors of a line CD which is inclined 45" to VP, is 60 mm. Point is 30 mm in front of VP and 20 mm below HP. Point D, which is in the third quadrant, is 20 mm away from HP. Draw the projections of the line CD and find the length. of the line in the first quadrant? The top view of a straight line AB is inclined at 30° to the xy line. Its end A is 40 mm in front of VP. and end Bis 10 mm in front of VP. The line AB when produced meets the VP. at a point 10 mm above H.P. The linear distance between the point at which the line meets the VP. and the farthest point in the line AB with respect to VP. is 100 mm. Find i) true length and true inclinations of the line AB and ii) horizontal trace by projecting on the principal planes alone. . A line AB is 70mm tong, lying entirely behind VP and above HP. The HT of the line is 5mm behind VP and the VT of the line is 25mm below HP. The true distance between the horizontal trace and the vertical trace of the line is 50mm and the true distance between the horizontal trace and the end A is 30mm. Draw the projections of the line and find its true inclinations with the reference planes if the end A is to the left of end B. The details of two lines AB and PQ are given below. The end P lies to the left of Q with P being 30 mm above H.P. and 20 mm in front of V.P. and Q 80 mm above H.P. The HT of PQ is 10 mm in front of V.P. and 30 mm to the left of projector from P. Another line AB has its end A to the left of B such that B is 10 mm above H.P. and 8 mm in front of VP. A, lies 10 mm to the right of P along XY line and the distance between projectors from A and B is 60 mm. The H.T. of line AB is 10 mm to the right of projector from B. If line AB does not have a VT, find the minimum distance between AB and PQ,
