JOB PURPOSE: Review technical submissions from contractors according to project documentation and requirements, and ‘monitor the implementation of projects to ensure on time projects delivery and installation, while supporting Projects Managers throughout all stages of the project 3. JOB DIMENSIONS: Direct Reports: | Not applicable Number of Staff Supervised: Total: Not applicable 4, KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description Performance Indicators * Follow up with contractors onsite to monitor quality of materials selection, delivery and installation + Conduct flash site safety/qualty audits to ensure that the concemed project is following the agreed applicable standards and practices + Provide timely reports to the concerned Projects Manager as set in the Project plan + Deliver cost-effective design solutions that comply with the project's requirements + Maintain defined project objectives by reviewing project plan and coordinating with the concemed Project Manager as needed + Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations + Support the Project Manager in maintaining the defined project schedule by tracking project progress and coordinating activities as needed *+ Support the Project Manager in controlling project budget, costs, and expenditure by tracking relevant activities and administering contractor contracts in close coordination with the Contracts Management Specialist + Prepare project status reports by collecing, analyzing, and ‘summarizing information and trends + Review technical submissions from contractors determining ‘compliance with project documentation, projects safety and quality standards and technical requirements, and provide relevant recommendations to the concemed project manager + Provide technical engineering input, designs, documentation and responses for different types of projects in Civil and Tracks, Signaling ‘and Telecommunication, and Building Provide input in project review and progress meetings, as needed + Liaise regularly on the ground with the contractors, consultants, supervisors, and pianners ensuring that projects requirements are met and escalate any issues to the concemed Projects Manager in a timely manner * Prepare project status reporis by calecting, analyzing, and ‘summarizing information ard trends and submit to the concerned Project manager + Monitor production and quality to customer/stakeholder/sponsor standards *+ Implements change and variation orders as instructed by the Project. Manager Record minutes for project meetings and circulate with all concerned team members * Resolve any unexpected isue that might arse throughout the project lelivery 5. JOB CONTEXT: ‘The position reports directly to the Program Control and Resourcing Supervisor and functionally tothe Projects Manager, who will also review the jobholder’s performance ‘The Projects Engineer willbe an individual contributor to the day to day operations of one or more: Projects ‘The Projects Engineer will require regular site visits, in addition to extensive travel within KSA The Projects Engineer role will involve many interactions points with internal and external stakeholders, specifically contractors 6. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (ILLUSTRATIVE NOT EXHAUSTIVE): Internal: All of the Infrastructure Projects Department team, Infrastructure Business Unit Departments, and all other concemed internal stakeholders External: Contractors, Consultants, Material Suppliers, and all ther concerned external stakeholders 7. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY: The position exercises no financial authority. Makes simple judgments and minor decisions on matters within the purview of the job and refers decisions and recommendations to the nex-higher level of supervision for recommendations, inputs, and futher handing. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES: QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor's degree in a Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electro-mechanical Engineering, or relevant field is required , €!
