Performance Task – Book Game Segment

(Second Quarter Topic in General Mathematics such as Application of Exponential, Logarithmic Function
and Equation and Simple and Compound Interest.)

Goal- Your goal is to help Precalculus students to review the topics such as conic section, circular and
trigonometric function.

Situation- An authorized head of a publishing company calls for a meeting to conceptualize a game
segment for an book. You as a member of the creative team are expected to work together and organize
the task. You are tasked to create a game activity with its content/questions related to the topics
discussed in the Second Quarter.

The game activity must contain the following:

1. Title of the game 2. Questions and Answers in the game 3. Mechanics of the game

The total number of items is 30 points. The number of questions will depend on the number of
equivalent points per correct answer per question. Example, if problem solving is given, you can give an
equivalent of 5 points as long as there is a corresponding point/s for the step-bystep solution and the
answer. Use Microsoft word for your output, then you can send it through email or save in a flash drive
(File Name: Surname, First Name – Performance Task # 2), then submit together with this HLP.
