Subject

Seperti yang telah dijelaskan di dalam pelajaran Susunan Ayat, Subject ialah perkataan
atau sekumpulan perkataan yang sedang menceritakan atau diceritakan di dalam ayat.

contoh: I go to school.
('I' ialah Subject dan pencerita di dalam ayat ini)

They go to school.
('They' ialah Subject yang diceritakan di dalam ayat)

Subject yang paling mudah terdiri dari satu kata nama atau noun.

Subject yang lebih kompleks terdiri dua (atau lebih) kata nama.

contoh: My brother and sister are playing in the field.
