How is it different to Web 3.0? What isthe basic concept of Web 4.0? Explain the term WWW. and its uses. Explain the term "Blogging". List any 10 protocols/software that can be used as Web 2.0 technologies. ‘Ans. Web 2.0 : Web 2.0 moved us from a read-only Internet to what experts would cal a “read/write” Internet. Suddenly, users were able to enter a range of information into web fields and send it back to the servers, so that they could ‘communicate with hosting servers in realtime. They could not only access information, but also send information back to the server to get more targeted information or other user generated results. This is where a variety of web services took off as providers were able to use this interactivity to transform software services. The fundamental tool for these interactions has been hypertext transfer protocol or HTTP. This is where the browser sends the server a message corresponding to the user's submitted information and establishes the communications that drive Web 20. Web 2.0 also got a major boost from cloud technology, where abstracting server hardware allowed companies to dream bigger when it came to offering web-delivered services. Web 3.0: As for Web 3.0, Internet gurus dream of the day when semantic web and data mapping will transform the web into what you might calla “read, write and execute” web; where automation programs take over from purely user-driven Internet activity. Here you might theorize that Internet bots will do the actual work of generating the HTTP requests and responses and surf the web instead of human users. We're not there yet — so it's safe to say that we're stil in the era of Web 2.0, Web 4.0: Web 4.0 s a new evolution of the Web paradigm based on multiple models, technologies and social relationships. The concept of Web 4.0 isnot totally clear and unanimous in literature, because itis composed by several dimensions. In this sense, this study uses a systematic review approach to clarify the concept of Web 4.0 and explore its Various dimensions, analyzing if they have elements in common. The findings indicate that the number of studies published from 2009 to 2017 on this field significantly increased, having reached a peak in 2014. Furthermore, we identified five dimensions associated with the Web 4.0 paradigm, in which the terms &€oepervasive computinga€ and 4€ceubiquitous computinga€ are the most widely used in the literature. On the other side, terms such as €ceWeb 4.03€, d€cesymbiatic WebS€ and a€ceWeb social ‘computinga€ are not often used. ‘Term WWW and its uses : Some people use the terms ‘internet’ and 'World Wide Web! interchangeably. They think they are the same thing, but its not so. Internet is entirely different from WWW. Its a worldwide network of devices like computers, laptops, tablets, etc, It enables users to send emails to other users and chat with them online. For example, when you send ‘an email or chatting with someone online, you are using the internet. But, when you have opened a website like google.com for information, you are using the World Wide Web; a network of servers aver the internet. You request a webpage from Ignou Study Helper-Sunil Poonia Page 1 Towoy Stvpy WeLree www.ignousite.com Sumi Pooma your computer using a browser, and the server renders that page to your browser. Your computer is called a client who runs ‘a program (web browser), and asks the other computer (server) for the information it needs. World Wide Web, which is also known as a Web, isa collection of websites or web pages stored in web servers and connected to local computers through the internet, These websites contain text pages, digital mages, audios, videos, etc. Users can access the content of these sites from any part of the world over the internet using their devices such as computers, laptops, cell phones, etc, The WWW, along with internet, enables the retrieval and display of text and media to your device, ‘The term Blogging : The word blog is actually a shortened form of ts original ame, "weblog." These weblogs allowed early log" the details of their day in diary-style entries. logs often allow readers to comment, so as they became ‘more common, communities sprung up around popular blogs. Like most internet-based innovations, many entrepreneurs saw marketing potential in having a blog, and the adoption of blogging among the business community helped further increase the popularity of the medium. Not only can a blog be used for marketing a business, but it can also become a home business in and of itself. Blogging is as simple as obtaining a website and publishing original content on it. Tech-sawvy bloggers can buy a domain name and build the website themselves. Those with less HTML knowledge can create an account with sites like WordPress that simplify the web design and publishing process. Blogs are usually simple websites. Older pieces may be archived in separate sections of the site, and there may be a separate page with contact info or a bio, but the blogiselfis usually justa single page that can be scrolled through—similar to the ‘news feed on social media sites like Facebook. As with a Facebook news feed, a blog displays the newest content at the top of the page, internet users t 10 protocols/software that can be used as Web 2.0 technologies : Search Blogging Content Network Podcasting Social Networking Content Hosting Services Rich Internet Application Web Services Mashups 10, Social Bookmarking ') Create a registration form, using HTML for opening an em: following information: ‘+ Proposed email id (it can be of the type wox@abe.in) ‘+ Proposed password (should have a minimum size of 6 characters) ‘+ Name of the person requesting for email account ‘+ City and State of the person requesting for email account (both should be selected from drop down lists, default vvalue for City should be Jaipur and State be Rajasthan) ‘+ desired email services, which can be selected from "Basic Service" or "Advanced Service”. ‘* The form should include a SUBMIT button.
