hereby declare that I am an immigrant (as defined in the footnote hereto), and I certify that the vehicles and other goods listed below, upon which rebate of duty, and remission of VAT are claimed – (a)
were owned by me at the time of my arrival and at the time of their importation; and
(b) are intended for my own use and will not be used for trade or commercial purposes in accordance with the undertaking given below. I
further certify that I have not been granted the immigrants’ rebate or remission of VAT on a vehicle during the previous four years.

I undertake -(a) not to sell, offer or display for sale, lease, hire, pledge or in any manner whatsoever, whether gratuitously or otherwise, dispose of toany other person any vehicles or other goods in respect of
which a rebate of duty and remission of VAT have been granted, within twenty-four months of the date of their entry without the prior permission of the Commissioner and the payment of the
full duty and VAT due.
(b) that, if I emigrate from Zimbabwe within a period of twenty-four months from the date on which the vehicles or other goods were entered under rebate, I shall remove such vehicles or other goods
from Zimbabwe on my departure unless I have obtained the prior permission of the Commissioner to leave them inside Zimbabwe and have paid the full duty and VAT due. (c) to notify the
commissioner within 14 days of any changes to my residential address.
