(TOR@FLOW DRIVE)FOREWORD
Due to a continuous program of research and development, some procedures, speck
fication and parts may be altered in a constant effort to improve machines. Periodic revision may
be made to this publication and mailed automatically to distributors.
It is recommended that users contact their distributor or dealer for information on the
latest revision.
‘The satisfactory ordering and receiving of parts is dependent largely upon the proper use
of available information. To avoid errors in ordering, the following procedures should be followd:
1. Give the part number, catalog name and quzntity of items needed.
(
2. Give the model number. The chassis serial number plate is located on the engine how
or dashboard near the operators seat.
3. When ordering parts for the engine be sure to give the serial number and model number
of such unit.
4. Give the destination and method of shipment desired along with any. special invoicing
instruction.
‘The parts book is writen using the following methods which should be throughly understood,
Fig. No.
Description
Qty
Serial No.
Figure numbers are not applied in numerical order in either
SECTION’ Assignment of Fig. Nos. to drawings in both SEC-
TIONS is made independently of each other.
‘Therefore, the same Fig. Nos. may appear in both SECTIONS.
Any of components parts of an assembly has one point (-) pre-
fixed to its part name and is listed up in the line below the ar
sembly name.
Where a one-point-prefixed part has some component parts,
any of these component parts has two point (- -) prefixed to its,
part name.
Each “Q'ty” indicates the quantity of a part required per
machine. In case of a component part of an assembly, however,
it indicates the quantity of the part required per assembly.
This indicates the machine model-serial No. where the corre-
sponding part is used, The following letters stand for machine
models.Remarks

Marks and abbreviations as used in the column “Remarks”
carry their respective implications as described below:
‘The mark indicates that a component part corresponding
to this mark is supplied together with other component parts
in sets. When ordering, please state their assembly part number
(a part number following this mark).
‘The part to be supplied not as a completely finished part
but asa semi-finished part. When a semi-finished part has a part
number, this marking will be followed by this part number.
This is a semi-finished part whose part number will be
stated, following the part number of a completely finished part.
This part will be prohibited from being supplied and this
marking will be followed by the part number of its replacing
part,
This is the part which may be replaced by another part and
this marking will be followed by the part number of its replac-
ing part.
The numerals following this marking constitute the part
number of a part to replace the having this marking. In case of
supplying such a replacing part, however, attention should be
paid to the column, “REMARKS” because other component
parts should be sent together with the replacing part.
A component part of a kit. This code will be followed by
the part number of the kit. Other component parts of the kit
will be enumerated in the service kit table.
This code indicates undersized parts.
This code indicates oversized parts.
These US and OS parts will be entered in the line below
their corresponding standard-sized parts.
This code indicates optional parts.
‘These optional parts will not be fumished for the standard
machines but may be puchased on special orders.NOTE: Whenever requisitions are to be made for parts by
the use of part numbers prefixed by marking, + ,
or 3% , those parts with only the numbers following the
markings will be delivered in due course. In case of parts
with a marking [ , those having only the numbers fol-
lowing the marking may be supplied.
In the column "REMARKS", other necessary infor- ‘
mation such as names of manufacturers of purchased parts,
shipping destination (for instance, "For india"), etc., will
