Raymond Ward Bissell

Raymond Ward Bissell (1936-2019) was a US art historian.[1]

He was best known as an expert on Italian Baroque art who wrote about the father-
daughter pair Orazio and Artemisia Gentileschi. He retired in 2006 after a long
career at the University of Michigan.[2]
