Create a journal about what you have learned in Unit 2:

1. What are your insights about the second unit of Assessment in Learning 1?

- The unit 2 of Assessment in Learning 1 thought me the significance of having assessment for
the students performance, not just evaluating on how they perform, but also to provide a
feedback, so they can see how they perform in class, and also it gives them a motivation.

As a Teacher, we must have a clear and focus purpose, well prepared, we should meet all the
students needs, maintain the fun learning experience to keep the students interest, and
continuously monitoring the students progress.

An Educator shall provide valid content for his/her students needs. He/she must be flexible in
reaching all students needs, and use different methods to meet the different students learning
style. He/she must be reliable, her dignity as a teacher should always present. Apply different
types of activities, test, and exams to assess the student’s learning and progress, and he/she
also must not bias to any of his/her student.

2. What is your favorite part of the discussion?

- My favorite part of the discussion is the discussion itself. It gives us the knowledge, as a future
teacher it will help me to shape and mold my students, and to attain the fulfillment for my
students to be professional, and also to have a good attitude and competitive enough as an
individual.

3. What is your favorite in the topics covered and why?

- My favorite part of the discussion is the 5P’s. It focuses on how to maintain the quality and fun
learning experience. With the 5P’s, we can achieve the learning objectives, despite of the
differences of our students. Having a clear and focus objectives, well prepared, interesting
approaches, maintaining the fun and purposeful learning will help the students to be more
progressive in class and obtain the knowledge they needed in complex society.
