Brazilian Navy rectifies one of its three new Public Tenders
The Navy Personnel Selection Service (SSPM) announces a correction regarding one of
the notices of three new Public Tenders, which together aim to provide 37 vacancies
for the Marine Health Corps (CP-CSM), which are aimed at higher-level
professionals.

According to the publication made in the Official Gazette of the Union this Monday
(28), referring to the notice of the Dental Surgeon Board in 2021 (CP-CSM-CD/2021),
there was a change regarding the program and bibliography for the written tests of
professional knowledge, for the area of endodontics.

It is noteworthy that among the total number of vacancies offered, there are those
aimed at people who fit the items specified in the notice.

To apply for one of the vacancies offered, applicants must prove the education
required for the position they intend to apply for, as well as be under 36 years of
age on the first day of January 2022, be a native Brazilian, be up to date with the
obligations of military service and Electoral Justice, as well as having a minimum
height of 1.54m and a maximum of 2m, among other requirements.

The course

The successful candidate and classified in the final result will take the Officer
Training Course (CFO) at the Admiral Wandenkolk Instruction Center (CIAW) in Rio de
Janeiro. The purpose of the course is to prepare the candidate for the exercise of
positions and functions in Military Organizations of the Navy, located in any unit
of the federation, according to their qualifications and taking into account the
convenience of the service.

The course consists of an adaptation period of approximately three weeks, and a


curricular stage, comprising the activities provided for in the respective
curricula. During this course, the Marine Guard will have the remuneration related
to this graduation, having as a gross amount, in current terms, R$ 9,070.60, of
which R$ 7,315.00 related to military pay, R$ 1,389.85 related to the additional
military and R$365.75 related to the additional compensation for military
availability, as provided for in current legislation, in addition to food, uniform,
medical-dental, psychological, social and religious assistance.

Procedures for participation

Interested parties can register from 8:00 am on July 26, 2021 until 11:59 pm on
August 15, 2021, Brasília/DF time, exclusively via the Internet, through the Navy's
website (CSM-CD - CSM-S - CSM-Md). The payment of the registration fee in the
amount of R$ 130.00 must be made at any bank agency until August 19, 2021, however,
candidates who meet the criteria established in the notice may request exemption
from the amount between July 26, 2021 and August 9, 2021.

As a form of selection, candidates will be evaluated by completing the following


steps: Objective Test (PO); Essay; Biographic Data Verification (VDB) and Document
Verification (VD); Health Inspection (IS); Admission Physical Aptitude Test (TAF-
i); Proof of Titles (PT); Psychological Assessment (AP) and Complementary
Heteroidentification Procedure to Self-Declaration (PH).

The objective written test, scheduled to take place in the second half of October
2021, will have a maximum duration of four hours and will consist of 50 questions
involving the subjects of writing and professional knowledge. The places where the
evaluations were carried out, as well as the organizations responsible for the
local execution, can be consulted in the table in the opening notice.

Validity

The validity period of these Public Tenders will end on the day the Officers
Training Course (CFO) starts.
