Some studies have suggested that owning a dog or a cat can reduce your chances of having a heart
attack.

A 1997 survey of over 12,000 adolescents showed that teens who felt more loved by their parents
were less likely to engage in risky behaviors (drugs, smoking, behaving violently, and so forth).

Research compiled by the American Psychological Association has found "strong associations
between increases in advertising for non-nutritious foods and rates of childhood obesity."
