THANKS FOR YOUR PREFERENCE TO BINOTTO!
Work safe, use proper iting equipment, support the body with a
body prop when working under a raised body.
The cylinder is made for lifting purposes only and must not be
considered as a body stabilizer.

Apply a reinforced profile ora rigid iting plate for mounting the lit
ting brackets (Fg. 1).
‘See the cylinder specication sheet forthe minimum distance bet-
‘ween the support eross members (Fig 2). Avoid laying the brac
kets on any frame plate and leave at least 10mm space at the
bottom (Fig. 2a). Install the brackets in order to have the point of
support only on top.
Keep 2 mm clearance between cylinder and chassis brackets for
‘mounting and gismantling operations
Use all bolt holes ofthe brackets. Use quay bolts (Tab 1 fore
commendations) with selocking nuts and flat washers over the
slotted hole inthe bracket
Nuis and washers should be on the brackes flanges. no space
tenough, they can be reversed,
Nuts and washers always on the brackets flange, when tipping
weight is above 50 tons.
Fitbols in corners of slotted holes when tipping weights above 50
tons (Fig 3)
Do not mount iting brackets upside down, when tipping weight is
above 60 tons (Fig 4)
‘Apply grease onthe cyinder pins for corasion prevention and for
inal fi
Remove excessive grease.
Ensure the Binotto plastic cap is fited on the top to protect cyin-
der from dit and moisture.
‘Always use good quality hydraulic ol (Tab. 2)
Mount the cylinder along the longitudinal centre line ofthe body.
Mount the cylinder exacly vertical to minimize the risk of side oad.
For MC the maximum forward fiting angle depends on the length
af the cover (Fig. 5).
For MF (spherical top eye) the maximum angle is 30° (Fig. 6)
MEC cylinders fitted straight (0°) can be supported by a welding
rubber on the tipper body to reduce rating
MFC cylinders fted under an angle cannot be supported inthis way;
‘They also rotate with the cover towards the body when tipping
Make sure the cover will not touch the body and in general that
the cylinder (MFC or MF type) can rotate free from any obstacte.
For MF cylinders, ensure the bearing has enough working space
(2x6
I necessary use filer rings to reduce that space.
Mount frontend cylinder with a minimum pull out of 15 mm and a
‘maximum pull out of 25 mm. The closed length ofthe front-end
cylinders on the Binotto specication sheets already includes pull
‘ut (20 mm for MFC),
‘Aiways grease the greasing points (brackets, cap ring, ..) espe-
Cially when the tioping system is to be stored for an extended pe-
tiod of time.
‘The grease must be ol based.

For rear application, according tothe chassis and body design it Caball seckat
is possible to mount iin font ofthe centre of gravity o the body

Fit suitable fier and pressure retin the hycraulc system, <=
‘Aways use good quality hydrauli oil (Tab. 2). Fig.2
Do not wash cylinders wth high pressure jet leaner.
Never exceed the maximum working pressure othe cylinder. .
