Lesson/Module No: Lesson 7: Schools and Community Relations
My Learnings:
The activity meant for Lesson 7 is something that is observable in the
community. As we all know, the location of a school is right at the heart of the
community so it is understandable that there will be instances that coordination between
the school and the local government unit is needed. Working on this activity made me
see the importance of these two institutions in the community. In order to have a
successful implementation proposed programs and projects between schools and the
community, the two should be able to settle everything and consider the best interests
of people and also the students that will benefit the program.
Now, as a student, I want to learn more about the process of how the
coordination of schools and community happens and how does it affect the relationship
between the people, students, and the community with each other. Before reading the
material, the title of the lesson already gave me the gist of what is going to be tackled in
the instructional material. I have an idea of how the schools and community collaborate
in some projects in order to establish a connection between the students, school, and
the community. The mere fact that I have a bit of knowledge when it comes to this
matter helped me answer the activity for this particular lesson and just by doing some
research and reading through the materials posted, answering this wasn’t that handful.
