Crew COVID -19 Vaccine Requirements ‘This policy defines Windstar Cruises’ specific requirements regarding the COVID -19 vaccines for all, Windstar crewmembers. (For purposes of this policy, a crewmember is defined as anyone with a shipboard contract of employment). All Windstar crewmembers will be required to have the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of engagement ona Windstar ship. We established this requirement after consulting with our medical experts and considering the health and wellness interests of our guests, crew, and the places Windstar visits. Crewmember vaccines will be required to pass the pre-employment medical examination. However, if you cannot be fully vaccinated prior to starting your upcoming contract, please contact your manning ‘agency to determine whether it is possible for you to stil join your ship and obtain the vaccine during your service on the ship, or when you return home for vacation.
