5. PROGRAM WORK PLACE RELATIONSHIP

A. Use of knowledge gained in College:

I have faced many difficulties in collection, presentation and analysis of the data. It
is all due to lack of experience and confidence. However, I utilized my best
knowledge acquired by me in the College.

The frequent presentation on various topics in the College has helped me to

convince staff of the organization.

Similarly, techniques I have studied in Statistics and Research Methodology has

helped me to collect primary and secondary data. Furthermore, ratio analysis studied
in financial management has helped significantly to analyze various financial ratios
of the organization.

And, the use of utility programs such as Microsoft word, Microsoft excel studied
and practiced while studying computer applications subject has helped me to present
my findings in the form of this valuable Project Report.

B. Carrying out research:

Truly speaking, this summer project work is not research. Rather, it is a mere
collection of data and presentation of the same in the form of project report.
However some techniques of Research Methodology have been used to collect data
required for the purpose.

But, I think, I can carry out any kinds of research by using the experience gained
through this project work. Techniques of collection of data such as interview, survey
used here are also the techniques used in research. Presentation of the data so
collected in the form of statistical charts and diagram such as Bar Diagram, and
Tables etc are also used in research. Analysis of data for finding out limitations and
give recommendation is also a part of research.

Hence, through this project work, actually, is not a research this will certainly help
me in carrying out a research in the days coming ahead.
