Ever since video games or online games was introduced in our time, people have been
enticed and entertained by playing them. Eventually, people developed and started to hold
competitions against each other in a professional level also known as eSports. eSports also
known as e-games or electronic sports is a sport which uses Video Games as a medium for
competition. This kind of competition is the same as traditional sports wherein individuals and
teams compete with each other in order to determine the winner or loser. It is also the same in the
aspect where players train and enhances their skills for them to use once they are against other
players in the competition. At, present eSports has garnered a lot of support from a lot of people
and organizations from all over the world, it is now popular and a lot of people are training and
improving their skillset in order to become a professional player. At present, there are a lot of
video games where professional competition is held, and there a lot of teams coming from
different parts of the world who participate in order to determine who is the best among the rest.
E-sports has taken a huge leap throughout the time, and we’re going to determine which games
mostly contribute to the E-sport community, why is the sport popular, and how do people make
use of these platforms.
