Crochet Pattern

Short-sleeved Pullover Jumper

Notes:
Yarn: worsted weight
Hook: 5.5 mm
Gauge: 12 dc and 8 dc rows in 4”
Standard US terminology is used
Abbreviations:
sl st = slip stitch
ch = chain stitch
fdc = foundation double crochet (use ch2 if you prefer)
dc = double crochet
fpdc = front post double crochet
bpdc = back post double crochet

For different gauges, work row 6 until under bust measurement is achieved by the two larger
sections in between the v-stitches combined.

Sizing: This pattern makes a size small/medium, jumper measures 34 inches at the bust and
12 inches from armpit to hem (model is 5’9”).
To make larger sizes, repeat row 6 until desired under-bust and arm hole measurements have
been achieved before proceeding.

Use ch 2 for first dc of each row instead of fdc if you prefer.

Pattern:
Row 1: ch 100, join with sl st to first ch
Row 2: fdc, dc in each ch, join with sl st to first dc (100 dc)
Row 3: ch 2, skip first dc, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc*, repeat ** to end of row, join with sl
st to first dc
Row 4: repeat row 3 (ensure fpdc is worked on fpdc and bpdc is worked on bpdc)
Row 5: fdc, dc in next 29 dc, (dc, ch1, dc) in next dc, dc in next 18 dc, (dc, ch1, dc) in next dc,
dc in next 30 dc, (dc, ch1, dc) in next dc, dc in next 18 dc, (dc, ch1, dc) in last dc, sl st to join
Row 6-13: fdc, dc in next and in each dc to end, and (dc, ch1, dc) in each chain space, sl st to
join
Row 14: fdc, dc in next dc and in every dc until next ch space, skip next 36 dc until next ch
space, dc in every dc until next ch space, sl st to join.
Work has been divided into body and sleeves
Row 15 - ~row 32: fdc and dc in next and in each dc to end, sl st to join (or until desired length
is reached)
Row 33: ch 2, skip first dc, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc*, repeat ** to end of row, join with
sl st to first dc
Row 34: repeat row 3 (ensure fpdc is worked on fpdc and bpdc is worked on bpdc), fasten off

Sleeves:
Slip stitch to join at armhole opening.
Row 1: fdc, dc in next dc and in each dc until end, sl st to join
Row 2: repeat row 1 (to make longer sleeves, repeat row 1 until desired length)
Row 3: ch 2, skip first dc, *fpdc in next dc, bpdc in next dc*, repeat ** to end of row, join with sl
st to first dc
Row 4: repeat row 3 (ensure fpdc is worked on fpdc and bpdc is worked on bpdc), fasten off
