Product/Growth Manager Questions

1. What experience do you have in this field?

Worked with Amazon on amazon pay product.
2. What kind of metrics should matter to product teams?
Top Line metrics like Active users, # txns and Value; Acquisition metrics
like New customers acquired; engagement metrics like Month on month
active customers, lapsed customers
3. We found that users who have joined us in the last few months are not spending
as much time in the app. How would you investigate why?
Track the profile of customers not engaging. Check If they were engaging
before and not engaging now. Then we can look at the page where they
are dropping off. We can talk to some sample customers why they are not
converting (booking tickets). Check reviews on play store to further refine
product.
4. Do you know of any startups/companies who have done phenomenal work at
product led growth? Explain.
Paytm being one of the first few products launched are very successful
now. Started with recharges Paytm now provide wide variety of services.
5. How can you drive product led growth at Trainman?
I personally have used Trainman to check train status. Trainman now
offers ticket booking, meals at seats. More opportunities can be explored
to acquire new customers and engage existing customers. One thing that
can be done is providing the customers information if friends or family is in
the same train or not (if both book through trainman, and we have
permissions to access contacts of phone)
6. Download our app Trainman on an android or ios device and try to book a ticket.

The app seems slow to load. There are lot and lots of ads.
