1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
Business analytics is the iterative, methodical exploration of an organization's data, with an
emphasis on statistical analysis, and a commitment to making data-driven decisions.
The objectives of this course are:
 To gain an understanding of how managers use business analytics to formulate and solve
business problems and to support managerial decision making.
 To become familiar with the processes needed to develop, report, and analyze business
data.

2. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME (CLO)


After completion of this course, students will be able to:
 Recognize, understand and apply the language, theory and models of the field of business
analytics.
 Critically analyze, synthesize, and solve complex unstructured business problems.
 Interpret results/solutions and identify appropriate courses of action for a given managerial
situation.
