1.

Pull connector (3, 4, 5, 6) to stepper motor


2. Set control in REMOTE, so that 4..20mA speed setting is active
3. Put speed setting to minimum (4 mA), switch to Position 1 and press ENTER
4. Put speed setting to maximum (20 mA), switch to Position 2 and press ENTER
5. Set control in LOCAL, so that RAISE/LOWER (engine control stand) is active
6. Turn mechanical speed setting on governor to minium speed
7. Start engine
8. Switch to Position 3 and press ENTER
9. Switch to Position 5 and press ENTER
10. Turn mechanical speed setting on governor to maximum speed
11. Switch to Position 4 and press ENTER
12. Switch to Position 6 and press ENTER
13. Stop engine
14. Remount connector (3, 4, 5, 6) to stepper motor

Ramp Setting with potentiometers P1 – P4:


1. In REMOTE mode from minimum to maximum speed with P1
2. In REMOTE mode from maximum to minimum speed with P2
3. In LOCAL mode from minimum to maximum speed with P3
4. In LOCAL mode from maximum to minimum speed with P4

With potentiometer P5 you can adjust the deadband for the speed control. A high
deadband will cause the speed setting to be very stable but not so accurate. A low
setting will cause the speed setting motor operate very often and make a very accurate
speed setting.
