Firmware layout

Please excuse the poor photoshop job of the firmware. Some of the colors came out different,
things are unaligned, things are abbreviated, and there may be some errors.
It was only made as an example of how the firmware should look. Please go through all the
menu screens in the unit, and review the layout of the GR-55 floorboard software that was
provided in the file, because the modified software is designed to be loosely based off of it.
If anything doesn’t make sense please contact me.

Thanks

The order of the category and number need to be changed for quicker and
easier editing.

Order of category – (Synth lead)(Bell)(synth pad)(synth bass), the rest is the same as original
Order of number in synth lead categ. – (550-sine lead 2)(535-simple sqr)(525-simple tri)
(557- saw wave) the rest Is the same as original. These sounds are used the most so they
should be the first sounds in line.

So for example when an init patch is loaded, OSC1-2 should show categ.(synth lead)
Number (001-sine lead)(002-simple sqr)(003-simple tri)(004-saw wave)
instead of the original (001-piano)

A parameter should be highlighted or show some form of indication that it is selected for
adjustment just like the original firmware.

If a parameter at the edge of the screen is selected then scrolling toward the edge of the screen
Should cause the parameter at the opposite edge to be selected. For example if on switch is
Selected then 1 scroll left should cause the fine knob to be selected. This allows faster editing.

When scrolling down from a selected parameter it should select the closest parameter on the
next row down. For example if (lock switch) is selected scrolling down should cause (curve tone) to
Be selected. Scrolling down from (curve tone) should cause (LEV NUA) to be selected and so on.
PG. left and PG. right should scroll between OSC1 OSC2 INST

For reference.
Remapping the units hardware buttons for a different function. The buttons shown below need to be remapped to function
as on/off switches, while pulling up different menu screens. For example, the lead button should be remapped to function as
a on/off switch for the OCS1. Pushing the button to turn on OSC1 should also bring you into the OSC1 menu screen. Pushing
the button to turn off OSC1 should take you back to the home screen. (If possible please program a timer that
automatically takes you back to the home screen when nothing has been edited or moved for more than
one minute).

When debugging with the emulator the power button on the unit needs to be held on
so use the rubber band to solve this.
