1) European Union (EU)-a political and economic union of 27 countries and considered as the most
advance and largest form of regional integration blocs.
2) North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)- An agreement that creates a trilateral bloc in
Northern America which aims to eliminate all tariffs and Nontariff barriers of trade and
investment one.
3) Association of southeast Asian nation (ASEAN)-It is an economic union among southeast Asian
countries in aiming to promote economic, social and cultural development and bolstering the
relationship among the countries in gaining peace and harmony.
4) Regional integration in Latin America- An organization consisting of 7 countries which aims in
creating a free-trade zone but later, the agreement failed.

 The Philippines is a member of the ASEAN integration. The ASEAN gives opportunity for the
Philippines in boosting its economic, political, social growth. OFW’s are benefited from the
integration. Exchange students’ which paves way for education to development, and a
solidarity between the countries in bolstering peace and harmony.
