Bukchon Hanok Village is

an art community in Seoul


noted for its traditional
Korean style residences.

Hanok is the term for the


traditional wooden, curved
roof houses in Korea.
Bukchon Hanok Village is built on a hillside and contains over 900 Hanok buildings.
The area is filled with art galleries and museums.
They also offer
workshops in
various traditional
arts and crafts.

Sumi is a Kpop groupie.
It has become very popular to dress in traditional Korean
folk costumes (Hanbok) and take photographs every where.

two hours from shops located
all over Hanok Village.
On the City Hall
grounds just outside
Hanok Village was a
spectacular 600
year-old lacebark
pine (Pinus bungeana).
