"Main Software" Here is your current software version Sislyed If your unit already has the newest software version, the update is not necessary, otherwise the update procedure has to be performed. 5. Closet menu by pressing OK button. AQUOSSHARP Software Update Procedure ENGLISH First of all, it's necessary to extract the software file (with the extension "img" or "imgl") from the zip archive. Then, copy the file to an empty USB memory stick with a FAT-compatible format. There can be only the software update file in the USB memory stick. While a TV broadcast is on the screen, unplug the TV set from the power outlet. Connect the described above USB memory stick into the corresponding port at the right side of the TV set. While holding the POWER button on the right side of the TV set, plug the TV set back into the power socket. Release the button after a few seconds. After a few whiles (it can take up to 2 minutes) the TV set will display a blue screen with the following content MNES [SOHC The system version number available on the USB memory stick will be displayed. The progress bar will be informing about the update procedure and after a few minutes, OK should be displayed in the white field. The update process is completed as soon as the "UPGRADE COMPLETE" message is displayed. Thus the update procedure is finished. Unplug the TV set from the power outlet and disconnect the USB memory stick. Afterwards, you can plug the TV set back in and return to a normal operation. Caution: It may happen that this process finishes successfully eventually after several trials. In case of any problem, please repeat the procedure.
