Sadness, feeling down, and having a loss of interest or pleasure in daily activities are
familiar feelings for all of us. But if they persist and affect our lives substantially, the issue
may be depression. Depression is a mood disorder that involves a persistent feeling of
sadness and loss of interest. It is different from the mood fluctuations that people regularly
experience as a part of life. It is normal to feel or be sad or irritable every now and then.
But if these feelings didn’t easily vanish or become so intense that you feel overwhelmingly
hopeless and helpless, you may be suffering from depression. The most common here is
Teen depression and it must be cured and well-cared.

Teen depression is much more than feeling temporarily sad or the feeling lke someone
snatch you a lollipop sad and just be happy again if you have another one. It’s a serious
and menacing disorder that can change the way you think and feel. It will control your
body causing problems at home, school, and in your social life. When you’re depressed, you
may feel hopeless and isolated and it can seem like no one understands you. This kind of
feeling is manipulating your mind. Even though it can feel like the whole world turn their
backs, there are plenty of things you can do to help yourself deal with symptoms, regain
your balance and feel more positive, energetic, and hopeful again.

Like everyone, young people can have occasional mood swings, feel irritable sometimes and
be particularly sensitive to rejection and criticism. But if these moods have lasted for two
weeks or more, the young fellow could have or suffering from depression. More likely
symptoms that may indicates this young people from having this kind of illness, like said
you’re feeling worthless or guilty most of the time. Depressed people always thinks in a
negative way even though you’re telling them a positive idea they’ll processed it into their
minds and it will be negative. Most of the depressed people having trouble sleeping because
they overthinking, they overthink the choice they made and the what if’s of their lives.

They will feel horrible with themselves and feel useless every time and it will go to the point
that it will be overwhelming that you can’t see any solutions besides hurting yourself.
There is always another solution, even if you can’t see it right now. Many people who have
survived a suicide attempt say that they did it because they mistakenly felt there was no
other solution to a problem they were experiencing. At the time, they couldn’t see another
way out, having thoughts of hurting yourself or others does not make you a bad
person. Depression can make you think and feel things that are out of character. No one
should judge you or condemn you for these feelings if you are brave enough to talk about
them. But in truth, depressed people didn’t really want to die. Remember that no matter
how badly you feel, these emotions will pass. Helping or curing depression isn’t easy but
you can try and you can start by reaching a hand to the young people who suffered by it.
Encourage young people to talk about how they feel with someone they know and trust,
such as a parent, teacher, school counsellor, family member or friend. Don’t try to force
them to talk, let them be and let them freely tell what they feel. Give them freedom to do
things. Give them the will to live on.

An important next step is for the young fellow visit their doctor to learn whether they have
depression and what can be done to treat it. Young people may have difficulty expressing
how they feel in words. This can make it harder for them to explain their feelings of
sadness. In order for them to heal, you have to accompany them and do things they loved
before. Step by step, reintroduce their life before this illness came. Even if they can’t
verbalize their feelings to the person they trust, don’t push them and distract them by stay
in public places, hang out with friends or family members, or go to a movie—anything to
keep from being depressed and having the urge to hurt their selves. Whatever their
situation, it takes real courage to face death and step back from the brink. Don’t judge the
depressed people that are alive on this day because they’re still fighting back.

You can use that courage to help you keep going and overcome depression. While it isn’t
easy to differentiate from normal teenage growing pains, teen depression is a serious health
problem that goes beyond moodiness. They all need the love, guidance and support. This
can go a long way towards helping a teen overcome depression and get their life back on
track.
