ABSTRACT :
The library management system is an application for assisting a librarian
in managing a book library in a college.
The system provides basic set of features to add , update books, returns
book , issue book and manage check in specification for the systems based
on clients statement need.
Library management system is typically management information system
(LMS)It's development.
Include the establishment and maintenance of back-end database and
front-end database applications development aspects.
The purpose of library management system is to automate is to existing
manual system by the help of computerized equipment and full-fledged
computer software, fulfilling their requirements.
The organization can maintain computerized records without redundant
entries.

CHAPTER. 1
INSTRUCTION
This chapter gives an overview about the aim, objective, background, and
operation of the system.
1.1 PROJECT AIM AND OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the project on library management
system is to manage the details of student, book, issues,librarian
member.
The project is totally built at administrative end and thus only
the administrator is guaranteed the access.
The purpose of the project is to build an application program to
reduce the manual work for managing the student, books,issues,address.
It tracks all the details about the issues, librarian member.

systems which are generally small or medium in size. It is used librarian to
manage the library using a computerized system where she can add new
books, issues, address.
