REGIONAL PRIORITY CREDIT

CATEGORY

REGIONAL PRIORITY—CREDIT
There are six available “Regional Priority” credits for every location; those credits are identi-
fied by the USGBC regional councils and chapters and LEED International Roundtable. The
project should earn up to four of those six credits. The “Regional Priority” credits have been
identified by the USGBC regional councils and chapters and LEED International Roundtable
as having additional regional importance for the project’s region.

One point will be awarded for each “Regional Priority” credit achieved, up to a maximum of
four. For credits with multiple thresholds (e.g., in the “Indoor Water Use Reduction” credit,
thresholds change according to the percent reduction established in water savings), points
will be awarded at particular levels of achievement.
