We’re looking for an experienced GCP engineer to support a large-scale transformation

through migrating to GCP and build the next generation of information retrieval systems that
will allow us to manage and expose engaging experiences on Napster.

Responsibilities
● Delivering next generation Google Cloud-based Products that leverages massive
datasets, visualisations and Machine Learning within digital apps.
● Work collaboratively on designing and implementing modern, scalable data solutions
using a range of new and emerging technologies from the Google Cloud Platform
● Manage both real time and batch data pipelines. Our technology stack includes a
wide variety of technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and MySQL.

Requirements
● Experience hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine,
Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
● Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and its impact on
Pricing.
● Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules,
Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.
● Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build
tasks.
● Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stackdriver/Google Monitoring.
● Experience with Big Data on GCP – BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataflow
● Prior experience working with: container technology such as Docker, version control
systems (Github), build management and CI/CD tools (Concourse, Jenkins), and
monitoring tools (Appdynamics, etc.)
● Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
● Unix/Linux power user
