 About the Institution
K. Ramakrishnan College of
Engineering was born out of a dream and
vision to provide academic and placement
excellence. Our institution was established by
Dr.K.Ramakrishnan, Chairman who aims to
provide value based education along with high
level of discipline in the year 2008. The
Institute has been approved by All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE),
New Delhi, accredited by NAAC with ‘A’
Grade and ISO 9001:2015 and 14001-2015
Certified Institution and affiliated to Anna
University Chennai. The college has been
elevated to the autonomous status. The
college have strong placement cell which has
good interaction with industries and provide
students with good industrial exposure and job

providing practical education, emphasizing in

programmes. EEE, ECE and Mechanical
departments are accredited by NBA for three

and dynamic faculty members.

The department has R&D center approved
by Anna University, Chennai. The department
offers PG course in Power System Engineering
and Ph.D programme in Electrical
Engineering. Our department has produced
