With permission from your parents, take a toy which can be washed. We would be
dipping it in paint. It can be, for example, a building block or car or you could use the
feet of a doll. Apply paint on the toy and press/roll it on the picture below. Use different
colours. Let one colour dry before you use another.

A rag is just a piece of old cloth. Do you know we can paint with it? Ask your parents to
give you a rag. Dip it in different colours of tempera paint. Press it on the picture given

Take a tissue paper or a piece of waste paper and crumple it into a ball. Dip into the

Painting: Blot painting

Cut on the dotted lines. Mix some paints in little water and make blots one one side of the
solid line. Use different colours. Keep some space between blots and cover as much area
as possible. Fold the paper on the solid line press it gently. Unfold the paper and see the
magic created.

Painting: Thread painting

Cut on the dotted lines. Mix paint in little water and dip a string in it. Slowly remove the
string from paint and make a pattern on one side of solid line. Fold the paper on the solid
line. Put some weight on the folded paper and slowly pull the thread out. Unfold the
paper and see the beautiful pattern created.

Painting: Spray painting

Cut on the dotted line to form a stencil. Place this stencil on paper. Mix paint in little water
and dip a tooth brush in it. Use your finger and spray paint around stencil. Once done
slowly remove the stencil to make a beautiful star pattern spray painting.

Dot Art: One size dot art

Use the back of a pencil and dab it in paint and place dots of the same size on the dots
provided on the butterfly.

Trace your hand in the box below. Use the back of a pencil and dab it in paint and place
