Challenges and how did I overcome the situation.

The major challenge I faced while managing my own business is during this pandemic times as our
sale dropped. The profit we managed in 2019 of 23 lakhs dropped to 17 lakhs in 2020 .So we made a
plan how to make our business more profitable again. I managed my team and we worked hard
during this crisis (planning and then executing shows my leadership skills)

This situation I overcome by

1. making a telegram group of my customers where I started giving them additional schemes
and promotional discounts.
2. Providing the service of windshield cleaning at the time of filling the fuels in vehicles .
3. Providing air compressor and puncture repair service.
4. We started telling people the importance of social distancing and masks. As I was so polite
and address myself so properly that they actually listens to me which becomes my plus
point. (communication skills)
5. We even made a banner depicting the pandemic situation.
6. We always keep in mind to ensure the quality and quantity of service so that attracted the
customers as in rural area there are many petrol pumps who are cheating with their
customers not providing them the quality of petrol and diesel.
7. In the whole area our petrol pump is only accepting the online payments. This we made
more versatile during this covid period. I made understood the people(shows my
communication skills) of village to use digital methods of payments. As of now we accept all
cards, bhim, phone pe , google pay all type of online payments.
