A report published by Oxford University Press , titled ‘Social Computation Propaganda

Worldwide : Executing Summary ‘ details a case study on exploitation of social media platforms
for advancing political propagandas in nine countries and thereby researching and highlighting
effects such platform , their reach and their heavy usage by vaste population gives rise to
vulnerability of the mixing social and political activities on virtual domains.
The team was composed of 12 researchers from nine countries who, altogether, interviewed 65
experts, analyzed millions of posts on seven different social media platforms during scores of
elections, political crises, and national security incidents. Each case study analyzes qualitative,
quantitative, and computational evidence collected between 2015 and 2017 from Brazil,
Canada, China, Germany, Poland, Taiwan, Russia, Ukraine, and the United States.
