In Arequipa you can visit different places while taking the

best photos. Here you can listen to the typical music from
the region, read about its history and walk a lot. I am
visiting some of the beautiful places here right now.
People here receive others very happily. These months,
most people are preparing the festivities in which you can
take part when you come.

Text 2: What can you see in this city?

There are a lot of places to see here. First of all, there are a lot of
beautiful buildings around the main square. In front of it, you can
visit the regional museum which contains a lot of historical pieces.
Don’t forget to visit the Misti Volcano because there is a lot to know
about it. You can also visit Colca, one of the biggest canons in Peru.

Text 3: Where can you buy (souvenirs, clothes, etc.) in this city?

There are many places where to buy souvenirs here. There is a

shop next to the cathedral, where you can find a lot of manmade
artifacts. They receive soles and also dollars, so, bring your most
preferred currency. Most of the sellers speak both languages, so,
you can ask the price or whatever you want in your language. They
also sell clothes. They are beautiful!

Text 4: Where can you eat in this city?

There are a lot of restaurants in Arequipa. There is one

called “Sol de Oro” between the bank and the fire
station. They sell some typical dishes and some
common ones. Buy the typical dishes, because you
cannot find them in other places. I suggest you buy
“Chupe de Camarones”. It is made of cheese, potato,
rice, and other ingredients. As a dessert, have ice
cream. It is delicious!
