Operation Order (under installed condition] ¢@ Read through the User's Manual and then be familiar with the Salt Water Spray Testing Method (KS 9502) before operating the Salt Water Spray Chamber. 1. Fill water with the chamber by pouring water in the container. (Fill water in such a manner that half of the area where acryl cover of the chamber is faced the chamber is under water) : This is to prevent saline gas sprayed from the chamber from leaking. + Pour water into the chamber until water comes out through the chamber drain at left side. (to protect PVC) 2. Put 202 of water (distilled water) in the salt water tank and 1kg of Nac! in addition. Melt th sufficiently, and then put the given salinometer in the salt water tank to measure concentration of salt water. [When the mercury area gets at the surface of water up to 5 scales sunken under water means 5% salt solution] Please refer to No. 6 p2 of KS 09502 3. Fill saturation tank with water and then check the water level. (Interim water level ~ up to 2/3 [Check water level of the saturation tank when it is first installed, and every three days] *When replenishing the saturation tank with water, please switch off the spray, open safely valve of saturation tank (backside of the equipment), discharge air pressure remained in the saturation tank completely, and then fill water with the saturation tank water feeding valve (backside of the equipment) opened. Opening the saturation tank water feeding valve without opening the safety valve may result in bums of the user caused by backflow of water in the saturation tank toward the saturation tank water feeding valve. Special care is required not to suffer burns. 6. Operation Order [after installation] Switch the breaker On (right side of the equipment) Power S/W > ON HEAT S/W (chamber, saturation tank) — ON SPRAY S/W > ON . TIMER S/W > Setting the time first, and then ON VISION TEC ‘SALT WATER SPRAY CHAMBER 11/1 Operation by time setting - Setting the operating time and then timer S/W On. Continuous spray without time restriction - Timer S/W Off Before the test, it is necessary to extract sprayed capacity first of all For the sprayed capacity extracting method, please refer to (4) Spray Extract on p3 of “Salt Water Spray Testing Method” in the KS D9502. 6. Safety Device 1. Earth Leakage Breaker (ELB) All the powers in the chamber should be in connection and actions should be taken to prot against short circuit, electric shock, or over load. When the chamber is not used for a long time, please keep the main power S/W off. Control area should be checked with ELB off without fail Over heat protect breaker When heat is in excess of preset temperature, the device is automatically interrupted by the bre: Temperature should be about 40% up from the preset temperature. @ Chamber use © Saturation tank use Pressure/Safety Valve (Over steam protect breaker) It is operated in the event the saturation tank has unusual pressure. If the spray is not done although air comes out, the spraying function will be operated after 5~10 minutes. In order to reduce the time, please keep on increasing and decreasing the pressure using the regulator. This is the phenomenon that happens for a moment until air and salt water get balance when ‘operating spraying function after the suspension of salt water spraying for several hours through several days. @ If air doesn't come out from the nozzle, please take actions @ and © as afore-mentioned.
