2019 OAU POST-UTME EXAMINATION GUIDELINES

1. Each examination session will have a stipulated and advertised start and stop time.
2. Each candidate will be placed in a particular session on a particular day.
3. Candidates should arrive at the examination venue at least ONE (1) HOUR before the
start time of the examination.
4. Candidates will be physically and digitally screened before being allowed to write the
examination.
5. Once a candidate has been screened he or she must remain within the specified
HOLDING AREA.
6. Candidates will be required to observe approved CBT examination restroom guidelines.
7. Candidates are advised to read and understand all instructions displayed by the Computer
System for each subject on which they will be examined.
8. Candidates will only be allowed to take a writing pen into the examination hall.
9. Candidates are not allowed to bring any of the following items into the examination hall:
MOBILE-PHONES, SMART DEVICES, CALCULATORS, WALLETS, and any
form of document.
10. Candidates must bring along to the examination venue the following before they will be
allowed to write the examination:
a. Signed Examination Slip printout
b. Signed Examination Guidelines printout
11. Any examination malpractice will be appropriately dealt with.
12. All enquiries while the examination is in progress must be channeled only through a CBT
EXAMINATION OFFICER.
13. All candidates must confirm that their attendance is duly acknowledged during the
conduct of the examination.
14. Any candidate that becomes ill during the examination must inform the Examination
Invigilator immediately.
15. All candidates must ensure that all answers are properly submitted on the CBT
before exiting the examination hall.
16. No candidate will be allowed to write an examination if he or she arrives 20 minutes after
the commencement of the examination.
17. Candidates are required to leave the examination venue QUIETLY on completion of
their tests.
18. The UNIVERSITY will not be responsible for the safety of any personal belonging
brought to the examination premises.
19. All candidates are required to conduct themselves in a manner that does not result in
disturbance of public peace throughout the period of the examination and within the
University.
