In March, 3,405 Brazilians aged 30 to 39 died from Covid-19, almost four times the number
in January. Among those in their 40s, there were about 7,170 fatalities, up from 1,840, and
for those aged 20-29, deaths jumped to 880 from 245. Those under 59 now account for more
than a third of Covid-19 deaths in Brazil, according to research firm Lagom Data. As the
elderly get vaccinated, their deaths have fallen by half.

What : Covid-19 which started attacking young people

Who : Brazilians who are under 59 years of age
When : March 2021
Where : Brazil
Why : Covid-19
How : Because the elderly have been vaccinated, while the young are not, therefore the
deaths of the elderly because of the Covid-19 has fallen in half

Based on the news published in "The Strait Times" published on April 22, 2021, said that in
March 2021 Covid-19 in Brazil began to attack young people aged under 59 years, more than
a third of deaths due to Covid-19 in Brazil aged 59 year. This is evident because the number
of people who died aged 30 to 39 years amounted to 3,405 and an increase of almost 4 times
from the previous January. Meanwhile, Brazilians infected with the Covid-19 virus in their
40s also experienced an increase from 1,840 to 7,170, and those aged 20 to 29 years also
experienced an increase in deaths by 635 people. It is possible that this is because the elderly
have been vaccinated while young people are not vaccinated, therefore the death of the
elderly due to Covid-19 has decreased than before.
