As we all know, the 2019 Coronavirus pandemic has forced limited mobility not only in our

country but for the others as well. Inspired by Pasig City’s Mobile Palengke why not establish a

Mobile Pharmacy too? Like traditional pharmacies, RXpress also offers over-the-counter

prescribed and non-prescribed medicines. This would include medicines for the following as

listed in this slide. RXpress also offers beauty and personal care products. These products

could be obtained through our mobile pharmacy which will roam their neighborhoods or pre-

order them through our Facebook page.

Aside from selling products, RXpress also offers patient care services such as appointed-

based model services wherein every patient enrolled has a designated schedule for picking up

their medications. Patients will receive a call ahead of schedule from one of the staff to notify

them and inquire if there were any changes to their prescription needs. Next is Medical Use

Reviews (MUR) Services which is a diagnostic intervention to cater to the patients' inquiries

about their medications and the most appropriate way to take them. Last but not the least,

RXpress also offers blood sugar monitoring and blood pressure tests, both to walk-ins and

customers with appointments.

For the Prospective Suppliers

Next slide

RXpress, being a mobile pharmacy requires suppliers of products to offer its customers. For

drug products, the prospective suppliers would be Unilab Inc., Abbott Philippines, and Zuellig

Pharma Corporation. Aside from being an already trusted suppliers, they were chosen as they
have offices and warehouses within Metro Manila which will lessen the transportation costs

that RXpress would have to incur.

For beauty and personal care products, the prospective suppliers are Unilever Corporation,

Proctor & Gamble Company, and BMS Marketing Incorporated. Other products that are not

supplied by the suppliers would just be acquired through third-party sellers in Bambang street,

Manila, Philippines. These products would include face masks, face shields, bandages,

contraception, and other products that were not offered by the suppliers but is part of the

products RXpress is planning to sell.

To discuss the Target Plant/Office Location

Next slide

The Mobile Pharmacy will rove around different places in Manila, Taguig, Parañaque, Makati

and Caloocan. Thus, it has no definite and permanent selling location. However, it will need an

office to conduct the administrative functions and a specialized warehouse where it can store

its procured medicines. This will be located at 1719 Evangelista Street Corner Heneral Lim

Street, Bangkal, Makati City.

Lastly, the Estimated Cost of Service

Next slide

In terms of operations, the initial cost of setting up the mobile pharmacy is around four million

eight hundred ninety-eight thousand nine hundred eighteen pesos and twenty eight cents

which are dependent on multiple factors and variations. The initial funding for the business

would potentially come from investors and the personal investments of the business owners.

Options to finance the business via loans would also be explored to ensure enough capital to
operate the business. The detailed version of the costs associated with the business would be

discussed thoroughly in the financial aspect of this study.
