Nowadays, the expenses of a human daily life which become higher and higher leads people to spend

most of their time in earning money. It causes them start to put more effort in working and forgot to
keep their body healthy. Actually, we should spend more of our time to keep our body healthy by doing
some sport and exercise, especially outdoor sport.

Outdoor sports are said to be fun, enjoyable and could help in maintaining a good health. Therefore,
we should take up an outdoor sport we are interested in and being active in it. Of all the outdoor
activities I know, I like basketball most. I was lucky to watch a live basketball match with my friend. I love
the atmosphere when someone is playing basketball.

Basketball brings a lot of benefits to us. For example, playing basketball is known to benefit a person’s
height. Science suggests that playing basketball can add inches to your height due to the anaerobic
movements and jumping during a game of basketball. Besides of that, playing basketball is able to
develop self-confidence. As a member of a team, we can encourage, motivate, and support each other
when we face some problem or strong opponent. These benefits will definitely bring some positive
effect to our life.

In conclusion, basketball is my favorite sport because it's interesting, motivating and I love it. As the
saying goes, health is better than wealth. Therefore, I hope youngster and adults can spend less time in
front of computer but pay attention in all kind of outdoor sport because good health is way important
then fame or money.
