Density canon:

* For 3 or 4 improvisers. If 3, use numbers for the starting points; if 4, letters.

* Each player starts at a different number/letter, and progresses through the canons. A "cycle" of
canons consists of playing through until arriving at the point in the canons at which one started.
* Each "bar" in the Harmonic Canon indicates a tonal area, lasting 1 bar each (tempo TBD, but moderate),
to be used as the basis for playing (drums keep time in accordance with density canon position).
*Optional: each player has a similar resonant object (ex. a bell or gong) which they strike when arriving
at point 1/A in the Harmonic Canon.
* Each "bar" in the Density Canon consists of one complete cycle of the Harmonic Canon, using a
scale of 0-5 to indicate relative density of playing (0=silence, 5=rapid playing).
*The piece should last a predetermined number of cycles of the Density Canon (because there are twelve
5-second bars in the Harmonic Canon, a cycle of the Density Canon should last about 7 minutes).
