Question 1:
Currently, three airlines serve the city of Udaipur - Indigo, Air India, and Vistara. Indigo has
60% of all the scheduled flights from Udaipur, Vistara has 30%, and Air India has the remaining
10%. The rate of on-time flights for these airlines are 80%, 65%, and 40%, respectively. A plane
has just left Udaipur on time. What is the probability that it was a Vistara flight?

Question 2:
According to a recent study by University of Otago, New Zealand, out of 100 randomly selected
individuals 47 cover their mouths with tissue, handkerchief, or elbow while sneezing. Suppose
you sit on a bench in a mall and observe people's habits as they sneeze.

a) What is the probability that out of 20 randomly observed individuals at least 2 will cover
their mouths with tissue, handkerchief, or elbow?
b) Would you be surprised if you notice that out of 15 randomly observed individuals at
most 5 cover their mouths with tissue, handkerchief, or elbow? Explain your answer.
